I initially wrote this ‘ABOUT ME’ in ‘web design speak’ then I remembered why I left the corporate world, neither were right for me.

I am told I should display a current image of myself but I don’t have any because I hate having my picture taken... a camera shy photographer, crazy…right! 

In short I take pictures of any and everything...sadly I had a relationship non starter with buildings, landscapes and wildlife so I now stick to events and portrait photography.

My photographic journey was unplanned. I tripped and fell into it arms flailing and head spinning, I became confused, conflicted and cash strapped along the way; oddly this led the way to elation, excitement and an enormous cupful of happiness. Further, by nature I am a shy introvert, my camera gives me confidence and courage, with photography I can be adventurous, explorative and creative.

I love people and I love stories, there is a place people go to in certain moments that intrigues me. My passion is capturing the essence and energy and telling the story of those moments.

My clients tell me they like my natural, creative and quirky style; apparently I have the ability to look beyond the ordinary to help tell their story.

I am by no means a hot shot technically accurate photographer. I am just a lady who discovered late in life that she was not too shabby at taking a reasonable picture when the moment calls for it; so I thought let’s take this show on the road and what started as a hobby has now developed into a business.

From a wedding in Lyon to the biggest street party in Europe, I have captured people at some of the most joyous and poignant moments of their journey.
